How did you integrate technologies-software, hardware, and online- in this project? I had to do all my research on the computer so I would have knowledge before I started making my product. I used the blogs to keep track of my work and I used other software to make my product. I used publisher this whole time to make my cover, contents, and article pages. I didn't know how to use publisher before, but I slowly learned all the features that can be used to produce my product. The web has been a huge help throughout this because I was able to look up and compare how my magazine show look like to other magazines. How did your production skills develop throughout this product? When I first started this product I was unsure about everything that I needed to put on my magazine. After doing all my research on magazines and food magazines specifically, I started to gain more knowledge on what my product should look like. I realized there were a lot of things I needed to do to make sure my product would be wanted by my target audience and that it would be able to sell. My skills have greatly increased after I got feedback on my product. I started out with a basic cover, context, and article. I knew that I needed to be able to grab the readers attention though the words I put on the cover, the colors,and font, and the pictures. Pictures are a key thing when it comes to this product and they need to be varied so the magazine can be more interesting. How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as real media text? My magazine can target a large range of people because anybody could be interested in a healthy eating recipe magazine. Typically, I would say people who are 20 and older and are cooking for themselves. Mothers would be targeted as well, since they are always trying to find new recipes to make for their family. Generally, the gender that would be most targeted would be women, but men who like to cook could also be engaged by my product.  My product would mostly be engaged with audiences who are able to speak English. Mostly, sold in America, but could be sold in other places like Canada. The magazine price would be an average price ranging from 10-15 dollars. However, to make the actual recipes in the magazine would require you to be able to buy lots of ingredients. How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? My magazine follows many of the same conventions that the other food magazines have. My magazine or any magazine uses conventions to persuade the customer into buying it. Cover: My cover states the most delicious and interesting things, and mentions the amount of recipes that there will be in the magazine. There are Buzzwords on the front cover that will tell the buyer some of the interesting articles that can be found in the magazine. They are free and exclusive and for my target audience and this is used well to attract them.The main image represents the idea of my magazine which is healthy eating.
